McElroy Associates uses its special combination of skills to help other public policy experts clarify their concepts. A primary example—the Kane County, Illinois 2020 Land Resource Management Plan, honored by the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association.

Our public policy expertise goes well beyond traditional city planning activities. McElroy Associates conducted research on charter schools for the University of Chicago. More recently, Saint Xavier University—also based in Chicago—retained us for a neighborhood redevelopment assignment.
