Research — McElroy Associates specializes in public policy
research projects such as a regional report on economic development,
which included site visits, personal interviews and in depth research (see link on right for executive summary). Imagine working with consultants who communicate clearly, producing well-written documents that won’t put you to sleep. Even the best ideas stall if not communicated clearly. That’s what McElroy Associates does best—create clear, practical plans and policies that yield positive results. McElroy Associates uses its special combination of skills to help other public policy experts clarify their concepts. A primary example—the Kane County, Illinois 2020 Land Resource Management Plan, honored by the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association. Our public policy expertise goes well beyond traditional city planning activities. McElroy Associates conducted research on charter schools for the University of Chicago. More recently, Saint Xavier University—also based in Chicago—retained us for a neighborhood redevelopment assignment. Click the case study links on the right of the page to find out more about our work in historic preservation, long-range planning, downtown planning, and community redevelopment. |
Maybe it's time for a new messenger.
